May 10

Remained docked a the Harbortown Marina.
Beth tidied up the boat and I gave it a good rinse down.  It was pretty warm so we both stayed inside most of the day.

We met some of the residents of the marina and Alex and Vince who are working on their boat to head to the Caribbean next fall came over and we chatted for awhile.  Sherri, and her dog Roger are on a boat docked two down from us came over to admire Beth's job on the netting for the dogs and get a few pointers on how she did it as she wants to do something similar for her boat.  Rock and his wife stopped by.  Rock is a power boater but fits in well with the dock and is readily accepted by sailors.  Everyone we have met has been friendly and helpful.  One of the best parts of traveling like this is getting to meet the people along the way.

About dusk, I climbed the mast to get an accurate height on the mast for bridge clearances as the Okeechobee passage has a few shorter than normal bridges.  I also changed the AIS antenna while I was up there. Hopefully it will work better now.

Hopefully the mail package from Daniel will arrive Wednesday morning and we can continue our journey.
